The Civil Service Council organized a series of meetings with State Secretaries of all ministries to review the work done in 2020 and provide recommendations and directions for next year’s work planning and objectives.

As a result of general civil service examinations, the civil service staffing has improved, and citizens in reserve have the opportunity to take special exams and be appointed directly to the ranks of officers. The Civil Service Council also said that it is making civil servants more flexible within the organization.

He also said that they are studying how to effectively use the resources of experienced seniors and highly educated and skilled young people who have reached retirement age.

The Civil Service Council is working with high-level national and international experts to develop a policy document on the skills needed by civil servants to meet new challenges in new times and new environments. Thus, in 2021, the range of skills and attitudes appropriate to each civil servant category will be implemented in the civil service. In addition to piloting psychological tests for senior executives, we are implementing a brand new “Human Resource Audit” in the civil service at all levels. We are setting primary goals to establish ethical councils.

At the end of the meeting, B.Baatarzorig, Chairman of the Civil Service Council, addressed the Ministries’ State Secretaries. Recommended.
